Dr Jimoh Rauf Badamosi Unveils Foundation in Honour of Late Father
December 2024 · AbujaThe Founder and Chief Executive Officer of JRB Group, Dr Jimoh Rauf Badamosi, formally unveiled the Rauf Badamosi Foundation (RBF) — a humanitarian and charitable organisation dedicated to the economic empowerment and social upliftment of underserved communities across Nigeria.
The Foundation was inaugurated at a well-attended ceremony held at Excellence Hotel, Abuja, in December 2024. The event attracted a distinguished audience including federal lawmakers, business leaders, captains of industry, technocrats and members of the Badamosi family — coinciding with JRB Group's 2024 End-of-Year celebration.
Dr Badamosi stated that all existing philanthropic initiatives will be consolidated under the Foundation to ensure greater coordination, efficiency and impact — with a clear commitment to collaboration with NGOs, grassroots institutions, educational and healthcare providers, and community stakeholders.
"Our goal is to streamline our community service initiatives into a unified framework that ensures efficiency, accountability, and greater reach. That is the essence of the Foundation." — Dr Jimoh Rauf Badamosi, Founder
The event was chaired by Hon. Tarkighir Dickson Dominic, Member of the House of Representatives, who described Dr Badamosi as a "quiet philanthropist" whose acts of generosity are both inspiring and worthy of emulation.
Dr Mrs Favour Ugwuanyi (MNI), a retired Permanent Secretary in the Enugu State Civil Service, highlighted several intervention programmes already implemented — particularly in Ibagwa-Aka, Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Interventions to date include construction and rehabilitation of access roads, renovation of schools and healthcare facilities, provision of electricity transformers, installation of water boreholes, empowerment of hundreds of individuals through grants and skills programmes, distribution of motorcycles to young entrepreneurs, WAEC/NECO examination sponsorships, medical outreaches and the JRB Prize for Renewable Energy.
In her welcome address, Mrs Hadiza Jimoh-Rauf Badamosi, Executive Vice Chairman, expressed confidence in the Foundation's capacity to meet its objectives and make meaningful contributions to society.
